First in third annual series of Warwick Food Truck Festivals enjoys another success WARWICK. The next two-day event will be held Thursday and Friday, July 18-19.

The event was billed as rain or shine and it may have looked like some rain showers would hurt the first day, Thursday, June 20, of the third annual series of the Warwick Food Truck Festivals.
But although lighter than expected, the turnout was still good. On the next day, Friday, June 21, the weather was near perfect and record crowds came out to enjoy the popular event.
The festival, featuring a wide variety of food-truck fare, desserts and sweets, locally crafted brews and live music each evening, was held from 4 to 9 p.m. at the St. Stephens Soccer Field, 75 Sanfordville Road.
A big hit this year was the very popular food truck operated by Cousins Maine Lobster.
Guests also enjoyed live musical entertainment by the Moon Creek Blue Grass and Nailed Shutt bands.
All proceeds, which are tallied at a much later date, benefit St. Stephen-St. Edward School. And visitors were also encouraged to bring a non-perishable item for donation to the Warwick Ecumenical Food Pantry.
The next two day event will be held Thursday and Friday, July 18-19 followed by Sept. 19-20.
Bring your own chairs and blankets.
The general admission fee is $10 and children under 14 are admitted free of charge.
There is also a two-day Bonus Pass for $15.
Credit cards are accepted at the admissions tent. But some vendors may only accept cash.
Attend both Thursday and Friday in the same month and enjoy half price Friday admission.
"We are pleased with the turnout at our first festival date of this summer," said event chair Tracy Gregoire. "Everyone enjoyed the offerings of dozens of vendors providing delicious food and drink, children's activities and more. It's a great summer evening out in Warwick and we're looking forward to seeing everyone again on July 18."
