The Greenwood Lake Fire Department celebrated national Fire Safety Week with a visit to the Greenwood Lake Elementary School. There were demonstrations and explanation of equipment and procedures. There will be an open house be at the GWL fire house on Friday evening, Oct. 12, with more information on fire prevention as well as hats and other gifts.
