Empty Bowls fund raiser on May 5 to fight hunger in Warwick

WARWICK — Community members are invited to fight hunger in the Town of Warwick on Friday, May 5, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Warwick Valley High School.
Empty Bowls 2017 is a family fun evening that will feature beautiful handmade pottery bowls, student music, kids’ games and activities, pottery demonstrations and silent auction. There also will be gourmet soups, fresh bread and dessert.
Proceeds from Empty Bowls 2017 will benefit organizations throughout the Town of Warwick that provide food or meals to those in need:
• Backpack Snack Attack program
• Warwick Community Kitchen
• Florida Community Food Pantry
• Greenwood Lake Food Pantry
• St. Peter Lutheran Church Food Pantry
• Warwick Ecumenical Food Pantry
Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for kids and free for those three years of age or less. Tickets will be available at the door.
