Edward Jones Warwick branch to host 10 year anniversary celebration

WARWICK — Financial Advisor Ed Lynch will celebrate the 10th anniversary of his Edward Jones Warwick branch office at 77 Ronald Reagan Boulevard with a Holiday Open House for clients and their guests.
The event will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 4, from 4 to 8 p.m.
Edward Jones is an investment and full-service brokerage firm with more than 11,000 financial advisors located in over 10, 000 offices around the country.
Giving back to the community
The upcoming Holiday Open House will be catered by Be My Guest Catering and guests will have an opportunity to enjoy a large selection of hors d'oeuvres, refreshments, holiday music and even gifts for all those who attend.
"As a way of giving thanks for all our successes over the years," said Lynch, "we hope all from the Warwick community may join us in celebration this day to build their holiday spirit and get acquainted with our branch staff."
In 2011, Lynch, who is well-known for his participation in community organizations and events, retired from the Army Reserve with the rank of lieutenant colonel.
Lynch graduated from Lehigh University with a bachelor of science degree in engineering. Having received a four-year Army ROTC scholarship, he immediately began his military service as a 2nd Lieutenant in the US Army's Engineer branch.
After concluding his active duty service, Lynch returned to his home state of New York and served as an officer in the Army Reserve.
"Working in the financial services industry was not my first profession," said Lynch. "My full-time civilian career started within the electric and gas utility industry at Con Edison of New York, where I held various management positions of increasing responsibility."
Advance degrees
During that period, and while he and his wife Susan were raising their children, Lynch completed studies at night to earn a masters degree in business administration from Fordham University's Graduate Business School.
He later completed the Army's Command and General Staff College, which included two years of night school at the United States Military Academy at West Point along with summer curricula at universities in Delaware and West Virginia.
After a few years as a business development manager in an energy services firm and as a sales director of a consulting firm that specialized in the utility industry, Lynch transitioned into financial services and his current position as a financial advisor with Edward Jones.
Lynch holds the Series 7/63 Securities and Life/Health Insurance licenses and is an accredited Asset Management Specialist.
"As I reflect on the achievements I've been fortunate to have had within my current profession and at Edward Jones the last 10 years," he said, "I believe much came as a result of my prior personal and professional experiences including my leadership development, family upbringing and religious faith."
