WARWICK — Earlier this fall, Town of Warwick Supervisor Michael Sweeton, Mayor Michael Newhard and members of the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce joined Ryan O'Leary and his staff to celebrated his appointment as financial advisor in the Edward Jones Warwick branch office at 77 Ronald Reagan Boulevard.

Edward Jones is an investment and full-service brokerage firm with more than 11,000 financial advisors located in over 10,000 offices around the country.

"As an Edward Jones financial advisor, I believe it's important to invest my time to understand what you're working toward before you invest your money," said O'Leary. "Working closely with you and your CPA, attorney and other professionals, I can help determine the most appropriate financial strategy for you and your family. I can also help with your retirement savings strategy so you have more options when you retire, regardless of what you decide to do."

Move to Warwick
O'Leary attended Ramapo College of New Jersey and graduated with a degree in business administration with a concentration in finance.

Originally from Newton, N.J., he said that he looks forward to moving to Warwick and becoming involved with the community.

Before coming to the Edward Jones office in Warwick O'Leary spent time working in St. Louis at the Edward Jones corporate headquarters in the Financial Advisor Career Development Program.

The value of a mentor
This program is focused on the development of successful financial advisors capable of deeply serving client needs. This is achieved through he delivery of a training and application experience, which utilizes education, exercise, and implementation of learned skills to build and refine financial advisor competencies.

Prior to coming to Warwick, O'Leary returned to Newton and began building his own branch office and client base, while working under the mentorship of another financial advisor.

"My Warwick branch office administrator, Marianne Petersen, has eight years of experience and is dedicated to providing you with the highest level of service possible," said O'Leary. "Please don't hesitate to call on her with questions concerning your statement, dividends, stock certificates or your account in general."
