WARWICK — Networking, fashion and food will be the major attractions for the upcoming Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce business mixer on Tuesday, Sept. 24.

The event, billed as the “Style for Fall fashion show and business mixer” will be held at The Dautaj restaurant, 36 Oakland Ave. in the Village of Warwick from 6 to 8 p.m.

The mixer is an opportunity for guests to network, mix and mingle with a diverse group of executives, business owners and entrepreneurs in an elegant Victorian setting. Enjoy hors d’oeuvres, fellowship and a complimentary glass of wine. To spice up the evening, a group of ladies from the Chamber will grace the fashion runway as models to unveil the new fall 2013 designer clothing collection by Cabi (Carol Anderson by Invitation)

CAbi is one of the largest direct sales apparel companies in the United States. It offers two collections a year, spring and fall, which are available exclusively through the company’s Independent CAbi Consultants.

Independent CAbi Fashion Consultant Julia Lawrence and Corporate Impressions event planner and owner Janine Dethmers are teaming up to produce the interactive networking event with a mix of business and fashion.

“This event is going to be fun for all,” said Dethmers. “Both men and women are encouraged to take advantage of a great opportunity to build relationships, grow their client base and receive some fashion tips.”

The Dautaj Family Restaurant is co-owned by Jimmy Jashanica and Benny Karacica. They serve Northern Italian and American cuisine for lunch and dinner in a classic upscale setting seven days a week. The Dautaj also offers a variety of live music on Friday and occasional Saturday evenings.

Cost is $10 for members, $20 for non-members.
