WARWICK — On July 16, local officials and members of the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce joined owner Jessica Hoye for the grand opening of Cycle Station, an indoor bicycle-spinning studio located at 17 River St. in the Village of Warwick.

Indoor bicycle-spinning has become a popular form of cardiovascular exercise, especially for those who wish to burn lots of calories in just 45 minutes.

At Cycle Station, said Hoye, “we have bikes, music, awesome energy and a fun atmosphere. Spinning is a great way to lose weight or tone your body in a short amount of time. The great thing about spinning is that you control your own bike, speed, and tension. You are in control of your own work out.”

Hoye, who lives in Warwick with her husband, Jeffrey, and their two children, explained that spinning works for all levels of fitness. It’s also a group activity and an opportunity to enjoy the company of others while getting a great workout.

“Spinning is great for both the mind and the body,” she said. “You never have to feel intimidated or scared to come check out a class at Cycle Station because everyone is so friendly and supportive. And if you are looking for a motivating workout that will push you into another fitness level, well Cycles Station does that too.”

Cycle Station offers 14 Classes per week and a variety of different rides. The objective, explained Hoye, is to maintain a high level of motivation through physical exercise and get into the mind and body of clients with music, motivation, and virtual rides.

There are many levels of riding, she added, and it is strongly encouraged that each rider workout at the pace or level with which they feel most comfortable. There is always motivation for those that want to be pushed to the next level to achieve the max physical output while on your bike.

Cycle Station is open every day except Saturday.

Sessions are designed to accommodate those available in mornings and those who prefer evenings.
