Crystal Run Healthcare employees donates to ‘Backpack Snack Attack’

WARWICK — This back-to-school season, Crystal Run Healthcare is helping feed local children in need.
Crystal Run’s Warwick office participated in Backpack Snack Attack, an outreach program of the Warwick Reformed Church, to provide food for more than 300 hungry school children to eat at home every weekend.
Donations were distributed to local children in Pine Island, Florida, Greenwood Lake, and Warwick.
Backpack Snack Attack started in 2009 and is supported entirely by donations and volunteers.
“Hunger is an epidemic around the world and the Hudson Valley is no exception," said Susan Cooke, Site Supervisor Patient Services at Crystal Run Healthcare. "That’s why we wanted to join in donating to Backpack Snack Attack. Nutrition is a key component of your overall health and we’re committed to keeping the community healthy any way we can."
