Crystal Run expands in Warwick

WARWICK — County and local officials along with members of the Orange County and Warwick Valley Chambers of Commerce, representatives of local hospitals and medical organizations joined Dr. Hal Teitelbaum, managing partner and CEO of Crystal Run Healthcare, and staff members on Wednesday, Dec. 5, for the grand opening of the organization’s newly expanded offices at 75 Ronald Reagan Boulevard.

Crystal Run Healthcare is a multi-specialty group practice with more than 300 providers in more than 40 medical specialties at 15 locations in the mid-Hudson Valley and lower Catskill region.

Crystal Run Healthcare also offers fully accredited, all-digital radiology and laboratory services, and is a national leader in the use and advancement of electronic health records (EHR).

In addition to the existing orthopedic surgery office, new specialties in Warwick include women’s health and imaging, general surgery, and primary care including pediatrics.

Kauffman, who is a board certified surgeon graduated from Warwick Valley High School in 1981.

“I held the diving record for 10 years,” she laughed. “But it was just luck.”

Kauffman studied engineering at Texas A&M but then went on to earn her medical degree at Stony Brook School of Medicine. She completed her residency in surgery at Geisinger Medical Center in Pennsylvania and then went into private practice for six years in the State of Idaho.

Kauffman lives in Warwick with her husband, Kevin, and her son Mallory, 10.
