Craft Beer Cellar celebrates first anniversary

WARWICK — It's an important anniversary in the life of any business.
On Thursday, Oct. 29, members of the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce joined co-owner Michael Keller and his "beer geek" staff for a first anniversary ceremony at Craft Beer Cellar.
The Craft Beer Cellar, owned by Michael and Maggie Keller, is located at 93 Main St. in the former facility occupied by Country Chevrolet. And for the past year their customers have had an opportunity to sample some of the finest beers produced by local and other small brewers.
Craft brewers are defined by the Brewer's Association as those that are small, independent and traditional.
This year the Craft Beer Cellar also introduced the Crowler, a 32-ounce sealed can that can be filled with fresh draft beer and then sealed with a lid and taken out.
Education, service, finest brew
In addition to owning and managing the Craft Beer Cellar, Keller is also a financial planner and owner of Keller Wealth Management Group, LLC.
But he said that he has always been fascinated by the chemistry of the beer making process and the real craftsmanship that goes into every single batch and barrel of beer that is brewed.
"We are beer geeks who spend our time studying beer and figuring out how to get the best beer in your hands," said Keller. "And we care about education and customer service as much as we do about some of the finest beer ever produced."
