County historian recognizes Village of Florida historian for 21 years of service

GOSHEN Gary Randall has been witness to plenty of history being made in and around the Florida, Warwick, Orange County, the state and the nation in his 21 years serving as Village of Florida historian.
At a recent meeting at the Orange County Historians Office held at the 1841 Courthouse in Goshen, County Historian Cornelia Bush recognized Randall for his 21 years of service and thanked him for his commitment to preserving local history.
Gary has given unstintingly of himself over the years and his service to the community is to be commended, Bush said in her remarks.
Randall will continue to serve as president of the Florida Historical Society.
Florida resident William J.R. Pillmeier will assume the position of village historian.
