The business focuses around the practice of "slowing down," resting and detoxing from the frenetic and stressful lives that most of us live on a daily basis.
On April 22, Warwick Mayor Michael Newhard and members of the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce joined owner Kim Gabelmann, her family, staff, clients and friends for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand opening of Conscious Habitat Spa and Boutique.
The new restorative spa, wellness center and boutique is located at 16 Railroad Avenue in the Village of Warwick.
Gabelmann, a certified holistic health coach, explained that all of the spa services, programming and products in the Conscious Lifestyle boutique support the importance of mindfulness, wellness and self-care.
The spa offers therapeutic services such as massage, CBD massage, reiki, juice cleanses, health coaching and holistic facials.
Guests can enjoy the eucalyptus steam room, infrared saunas and other equipment that promote relaxation, detoxification or both.
All services and amenities are available a la carte.
Guests can also opt for a day pass, which includes all amenities, robes, slippers and full use of the relaxation lounge along with a herbal tea bar and library.
And the nearby sister business, Conscious Fork, will also deliver lunch.
"Conscious Habitat," said Gabelmann, "is also a hub for the wellness and holistic health community, and partners with a different healing artists, practitioners and teachers in the area to provide a breadth of programming and services."
Current classes and workshops include meditation, educational lectures and films, mindfulness for children, wellness for parents and meetups.
Conscious Habitat is currently open seven days a week and is now booking appointments online at www.conscioushabitat.com or by calling 845-986-WELL (9355).
The spa and relaxation lounge are both available for private rentals and for events such as corporate retreats' bridal/baby showers, parties and Girls' Night Out.
