U.S. Rep. Nan Hayworth (R-19th), toured downtown Warwick and visited local business owners on May 24. “The small business owners in Warwick, like Mary Beth Schlichting of Frazzleberries are doing well despite a daunting economy because they work very hard and they care about their customers and community. They told me that they need help in getting the federal government out of the way. They need lower taxes, less regulation, and lower energy prices, and I’m working every day to get that job done.” Pictured here, from left, are: Village Trustee Eileen Paterson, Congresswoman Hayworth, Michael Johndrow, executive director of the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce, and Mary Beth Schlichting, owner of Frazzleberries and co-chair of the Warwick Merchant Guild.
