Graduations
Amy Connors of Warwick has graduated summa cum laude from Tufts University in Medford, Mass., with a bachelor’s degree in sociology.
Dean’s list
Amber Mosher of Warwick was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2012 semester at Caldwell College.
To qualify, students must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher and complete at least 12 credits during the semester.
Awards, programs, honors
Alison L. Fatzynytz of Warwick was recently inducted into Alpha Lambda Delta freshman honor society at Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, Pa.
Fatzynytz, a rising junior majoring in marketing, is a 2010 graduate of Warwick Valley High School.
Liza M. Gergenti, a rising junior at Hamilton College in upstate Clinton, spent the summer participating in the college’s program for research in the sciences and mathematics. The program is a highly selective opportunity for students of all concentrations to conduct hands-on research in close collaboration with a Hamilton professor.
Gergenti worked with Visiting Assistant Professor of Psychology Michael Frederick on a project titled “Contrafreeloading” to study the psychoactive drug Quinpirole and its potential for treatment of disorders such as OCD and ADHD.

A graduate of Warwick Valley High School, Gergenti is a neuroscience major at Hamilton.
She is the daughter of Vincent and Margaret Gergenti of Warwick.
