Dean’s list
Ryan McLaughlin of the Village of Florida, a third-year student in Rochester Institute of Technology’s College of Science, was named to the dean’s list for the winter 2013 quarter.


Victoria Marley of Warwick has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2012 semester at SUNY Cortland. Victoria, a 2012 graduate of Warwick Valley High School, is studying speech pathology. She is the daughter of Stephen and Pat Marley.


Awards
Kerianne Westphal of Warwick, a sophomore at Manhattan College in Riverdale, has been nominated into Chi Epsilon, the National Civil Engineering Honor Society. Member selection is based on recognition of the four pillars: Scholarship, character, practicality and sociability - primary characteristics for achieving success in the world of engineering. Scholarship is determined by being in the top third of the student’s graduating class.


Scholarship
Ann Walker of Warwick has been granted the Trustees’ Scholarship to study occupational therapy at Alvernia University in Reading, Pa. Ann is a senior at John S. Burke Catholic High School in Goshen.

The Trustees’ Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship awarded on a competitive basis. To be awarded this $12,000 scholarship, the recipient must have a minimum of 1050 SAT (or 23 ACT) and a minimum 3.2 grade point average.
