Graduations
The following are among more than 400 students who recently received undergraduate degrees from the State University of New York at New Paltz:

Malissa Arjoon-Jerry of Warwick received a BS in Early Childhood & Chld Ed B-6.

Alyssa Colomba of Warwick received a BS in Mathematics.

Barbara Gallagher of Florida received a BA in English.

Jessica Hanley of Warwick received a BS in Visual Arts.

Jessica Peterson of Warwick, received a BS in Early Childhood & Chld Ed B-6.

Daniel Pregiato of Warwick received a BS in Accounting.

President’s list
Sarah J. Andryshak of Florida was named to the president’s list at Coastal Carolina University for the fall 2013 semester with a 4.0 GPA.

Andryshak, a sports science major, will graduate in May.


Steven Curry of Warwick was named to the president’s list for the fall 2013 semester at SUNY Oswego.

To qualify, a student must earned a GPA of 3.8 or better.


Tyler Folino of Warwick was named to the President's List for the fall 2013 semester at the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn.


Megan M. Mydosh of Warwick has been named to the President's list for the fall 2011 semester at SUNY Canton.

To qualify, full-time students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.75 or higher on a 4.0 scale.

Mydosh, a 2011 graduate of Warwick Valley High School, is a management major.


Sarah Anne Rothstein of Warwick has been named to the President's list for the fall 2013 semester at Siena College in Loudonville.

To qualify, students must maint a grade point average index of 3.9 or higher for the semester. Rothstein's GPA for the semester was 3.91.

A 2013 graduate of Warwick Valley High School, Rothstein is a freshman biology major. She is the daughter of David and Patricia Rothstein of Warwick.

Provost’s list
Taylyn Carter of Warwick, a junior at Hofstra University, has been named to the fall 2013 Provost’s List, which requires a 4.0 grade point average.

Carter is majoring in international business.

Dean’s list
Melissa Toscano from Greenwood Lake has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2013 semester at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, N.J., with a 3.9 GPA. She is graduating this May with a Math and Psychology Degree. She is going for her master’s in education next year.


Emily Zarow of Warwick has been named to the University of New Hampshire’s dean’s list with high honors for the first semester of the 2013-14 academic year.

Highest honors are awarded to students who earn a semester grade point average of 3.85 or better out of a possible 4.0.


Paul V. Bruno has been named to the Dean’s List for the Fall 2013 semester at Alfred State College with a 4.0 GPA. His parents are Paul and Darlene Bruno of Florida, NY. Paul is a 2010 graduate of S.S. Seward. Paul is a Senior studying Information Technology and will be graduating in May.


Brian Connolly of Warwick was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2013 semester at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Students are eligible for dean’s list if they carry at least 12 credits and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Brian, who is majoring in industrial & systems engineering, had a GPA of 4.0


Kristen Ludecker of Florida has been named to the dean's list for the fall 2013 semester at SUNY Cortland.

Ludecker's major is communication studies.


Lauren Weller of Warwick has been named to the dean's list for the fall 2013 semester at SUNY Cortland.

Weller, a graduate of Warwick Valley High School, is a conservation biolgy major.


John R. Babin of Warwick has been named to the dean's list for the fall 2013 semester at SUNY Cortland.

The Warwick Valley High School graduate is a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) major, with concentrations in environmental science.


Caitlin Michele Loyka of Warwick has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2013 semester at The College of New Jersey. To qualify, a degree candidate must have carried a minimum of 12 credits and have earned at least a 3.5 GPA or higher during the semester.


Lucas Durland of Warwick has been named to the dean's list for the fall 2013 semester at Coastal Carolina University in Conway, S.C.

To qualify, students must earn a 3.5 grade point average.

Durland is a sophomore who is studying management.


Cadet Shane Connolly has been named to the dean"s list for the fall semester (August through December) at the U.S. Military Academy. To earn this distinction, a cadet must maintain a 3.0 average in all courses.

Connolly is majoring in systems engineering and has a GPA of 3.77.


Ryan Maas of the Village of Florida has been named to the dean's list for the fall 2013 semester at Furman University in Greenville, S.C.

Furman's dean's list is composed of full-time undergraduate students who earn a grade point average of 3.4 or higher on a four-point system.

Maas is the son of Lee and Beth Maas.


The following students were named to the dean’s list for the fall 2013 semester at Hofstra University in Hempstead:

Beatrice Arner of Warwick, a junior majoring in journalism.

Rebecca Krieger of Warwick, a freshman majoring in university studies.

Angela Skouloudis of Warwick, a senior majoring in health science.

Students must earn at least a 3.4 grade point average to qualify.


The following students have been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2013 term at Hartwick College in Oneonta:

Sophomore Joseph Boccia of Warwick, the son of Joseph and Lorraine Boccia. Boccia has not yet declared a major.

Sophomore John Garcia of Warwick, son of John and Gwen Garcia. Garcia is majoring in mathematics.

Inclusion on Hartwick’s Dean List is an indication of excellent academic work, including the completion of a full course load with at least a 3.5 grade point average based on a 4.0 scale.
