College notes

Graduations Jesse Fuca of Warwick graduated cum laude from Binghamton University, Harpur College, earning a bachelor of arts degree.
He will be attending Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., this fall to pursue his masters degree in education while assistant coaching in track and field. Jesse is the son of Joy and John Fuca.
Diana Murphy of Warwick has graduated from the State University of New York at Potsdam, earning a bachelors degree in community health.
Deans list Stephen Kilduff, a 2008 graduate of George F. Baker High School in Tuxedo, has been named to the deans list for the spring 2012 semester at the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in North Adams, Mass.
To qualify, a student must be enrolled in six or more credit courses, attain a grade point average of 3.25 or better and have no incomplete grades. Stephen is an English and writing major and expects to graduate in December. He is the design editor for the colleges newspaper, the Beacon. The following students were named to the deans list for the spring 2012 semester at SUNY Cortland:
Patrick Rolla, a junior business economics major from Warwick. Shelby Fisher, a senior communication studies major from Warwick. Kristen Ludecker, a junior communication studies major from Florida. Corinne Sisco, a junior English as a second language major from Warwick. Caitlin Lemire, a sophomore exercise science major from Florida. Brynn Hutchinson, a junior speech and language disabilities major from Warwick. Sarah Garceau, a junior adolescence education: social studies major from Warwick.
Honorees must earn a grade point average of 3.3 or higher on a 4.0 scale, while completing 12 or more credit hours of classes during the semester.
Awards, scholarships, honors SUNY Oswego has awarded merit scholarships to more than 600 incoming students, including: Samantha J. Wacha of Warwick. She received a $17,600 Presidential Scholarship. Sarah A. Balseiro of Warwick. She received a $5,000 Deans Award.
Both women are graduates of Warwick Valley High School.
