College notes

GraduationsJames V. DePierro Jr. earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Honors Math from the University of Notre Dame. His family is very proud of his persistence, determination and achievements.
He is the son of James and Kristen DePierro of Warwick brother of Dr. Jonathan DePierro, Justin (head track coach of John S. Burke High School),Jordan WVHS’17, Jason, Joseph and Julianna.
James plans to pursue a career in teaching .

Dean’s listRyan Cosner, son of Donna and Ray Cosner of Warwick, was named to the Dean’s List for fall 2016 and spring 2017 semesters at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut. For a student to qualify for the dean’s list they must have attained at least a 3.6 GPA for the semester.
Ryan is a 2014 graduate of Warwick Valley High School and has recently completed his junior year at SHU, majoring in communications and media, with a minor in sport management.
On April 28, Ryan, a student of The School of Communication and Media Arts at Sacred Heart University was formally inducted into the Alpha Delta Zeta chapter of Lambda Pi Eta, the National Communications Association Honor Society.
