President's list
Several area residents have been named to the President's List for the fall 2013 semester at SUNY Oswego:
Shane Kinley of Florida (senior, accounting).
Patrick Bauer of Warwick (junior, economics).
Catrina Clarke of Warwick (senior, marketing).
Steven Curry of Warwick (senior, psychology).
Garret Sibilla of Warwick (sophomore, business administration).
Students who achieve grade averages of 3.80 and above on the 4.00 scale are named to the President's List, the top 7.7 of Oswego students.
Julie Balsamo of Warwick has been named to the Provost's List for the fall 2013 semester at SUNY Oneonta.
To qualify, students must earn a perfect 4.0 GPA while carrying a course load of 12 hours or more.
The following students were named to the President's list for the fall 2013 semester at SUNY Potsdam:
Charlotte Diefenbach of Florida, whose major is theatre.
Carolyn Herrera of Warwick, whose major is art studio.
To qualify, each student must have satisfactorily completed 12 numerically-graded semester hours, with a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
Dean's list
Liza M. Gergenti of Warwick has been named to the dean's list at for the fall semester at Hamilton College in Clinton.
To qualify, a student must have carried throughout the semester a course load of four or more graded credits with an average of 3.5 or above.
Gergenti, a senior majoring in neuroscience, is a graduate of Warwick Valley High School. She is the daughter of Vincent and Margaret Gergenti.
Matthew K. Unick of Warwick was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2013 semester at Alfred University. Students must earn at least a 3.5 grade point average to qualify.
Unick is a sophomore in the College of Professional Studies He is a finance major.
A graduate of Warwick Valley High School, Unick is the son of Kevin and Laurie Unick of Warwick
James M. Kolesar of Warwick has been named to the dean's list for the fall 2013 semester at Western New England in Springfield, Mass.
Students are named to the dean's list for achieving a semester grade point average of 3.30 or higher.
Kolesar is majoring in computer Science.
The following students were named to the dean's list for the fall 2013 semester at SUNY Potsdam:
Laura Brohm of Warwick, whose major is music education.
Morgan Lindsay of Warwick, whose major is speech communication.
To qualify, each student must have satisfactorily completed 12 numerically-graded semester hours, with a grade point average of between 3.25 and 3.49 in the given semester.
