Provost’s list
Julie Balsamo of Warwick was named to the SUNY Oneonta Provost’s List for the spring 2014 semester.
Of the more than 5,800 undergraduates enrolled at the college, 143 qualified for the spring 2014 Provost’s List by earning a perfect GPA while carrying a course load of at least 12 semester hours.
President's list
Warwick resident Ryan C. Miller, the son of Arlene and Daniel Miller, has been named to both the President's Scholars of Excellence, bestowed upon full-time, matriculated undergraduates who have earned a cumulative grade point average of 4.0 for a given term, and the Dean’s List for the spring 2014 semester at Rowan University in Glassboro, N.J.
Miller is a 2012 graduate of Warwick Valley High School and is majoring in mechanical engineering.
Dean’s list
Ashley Annicaro of Pine Island was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2014 semester at SUNY New Paltz College with a 3.9 GPA. A graduate of Warwick Valley High School, Annicaro is a junior in the Communications Disorders Program for Speech/Audiology.
Fletcher Laico from Warwick was named to the spring 2014 dean's list at Wake Forest University.
Students who achieve a 3.4 GPA and no grade below a C were named to the list.
The following students were named to the dean's list for the spring 2014 semester at Alfred State SUNY College of Technology:

Christopher Mansfield of Warwick.
To qualify, a student must main a GPA of 3.5 or better.
Rachelle Garneau of Warwick has been named to the dean's list for the spring 2014 semester at SUNY Orange with a GPA of 4.0.
Graduations
Anna Bisaro of Warwick has received her Masters of Science degree in Journalism from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill. Bisaro, who graduated from Warwick Valley High School in 2009, also received her bachelor’s degree in journalism from Northwestern.
She will spend the next three months in Sitka, Alaska, writing for an environmental conservancy and as a contributing reporter for the local newspaper. Anna is the daughter of Katie Bisaro and Paul Bisaro, both of Warwick.
Amanda Bateman of Warwick has graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Rhode Island with a bachelor of science degree in Business Administration (Marketing), with a minor in Communication Studies.
Students who received the honor summa cum laude graduated with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.7.
Lindsay Rae Cosner, a Warwick Valley High School alumni of the class of 2008, has graduated magna cum laude with a Master's of Science degree in Corporate Communications from Columbia University. In the university's Corporate Communications program, Lindsay was a member of a select and intensive 17 member cohort, taught by seasoned professionals and immersed in hands-on industry experience and community partnerships.
Previously, Lindsay received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Law in 2012 from Binghamton University, graduating with summa cum laude distinction. Lindsay was also inducted into Phi Beta Kappa as a junior, where membership is restricted to students in the top one percent of their class. Phi Beta Kappa is the oldest and most distinguished collegiate honors society in the United States.
Melissa Adorno of Warwick has graduated from SUNY Potsdam with a bachelor's degree in politics.
Stephen Rappaport of Warwick has graduated from Farmingdale State College.

Honors, programs, awards
Katharine Nitschke of Warwick, a graphic design major at Marywood University in Scranton, Pa., studied abroad her spring semester in Florence, Italy. She attended SACI, Student Art Centers International, where she attained a 3.8 GPA.
Laura Jeanne Catapano, a member of the WVHS class of 2005 and a graduate of Ithaca College, received her teaching certification in Waldorf Early Childhood Education from the Sunbridge Institute in Chestnut Ridge, N.J. She has been teaching at the Ithaca Waldorf School since 2009.
She is the daughter of Jeanne and Leonard Catapano.
Connor Crone of Warwick is competing the Mansfield University Concert Choir, directed by Peggy Dettwiler, at the 2014 World Choir Games, the largest international choral competition in the world, July 9-19 in Riga, Latvia.
Thousands of singers in 491 choirs from 59 countries around the world are already registered to join together in festive competition for gold medals and championships at the event known as "the Olympics for Choirs."
The MU choir will participate in three separate categories singing four different selections in each: Mixed Youth Choir, Sacred Music with Accompaniment, and Spirituals.
The Mansfield entourage of 55 students and eight adult travelers will visit and perform in Lübeck and Berlin, Germany, Warsaw, Poland and Vilnius, Lithuania before arriving in Riga, Latvia.
In 2011, the group won first-place and two second-place prizes at the International Eisteddfod in Llangollen, Wales, and was awarded the 2011 American Prize in Choral Performance for the College/University Division.
The Concert Choir has performed in 13 countries during their six European Tours and will add three more countries on this, their seventh tour.
