Graduations
Kayleigh Cockburn of Florida graduated in May from Hofstra University with a bachelor of arts degree in English and English education.
Siobhan O’Brien of Warwick received a bachelor of science degree in nursing from the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing of Emory University in Atlanta, Ga.
She also was named to the Merit List of Oxford College, the two-year liberal arts division of Emory University located in Oxford, Ga., for the 2013 spring semester. Students must earn a grade point average of 3.0 or higher during the previous semester to be named to the Merit List.
Chris Noll, the son of Vickie Shepherd of Warwick, graduated this May from the University at Buffalo with dual degrees in mechanical engineering and technical theatre.
Chris continues working in event production, including the Erie County Fair shows and Buffalo’s Summer Concert series.
Dean’s list
Alexis K. Saccone of Warwick has been named to the dean’s list for the spring 2013 semester at Herkimer County Community College, where she is studying children education.
To qualify for the dean’s list, a student must achieve a grade point average between 3.25 and 3.79.
Megan M. Mydosh, a SUNY Canton business administration major from Warwick, was named to the President’s List for the spring 2013 semester. Mydosh is a 2011 graduate of Warwick Valley High School.
To receive President’s List honors, full-time students must earn a semester grade point average of 3.75 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
Jillian M. Buono of Warwick has been recognized for inclusion on the dean’s list at SUNY-ESF (College of Environmental Science & Forestry) in Syracuse for the fall 2012 and spring 2013 semesters.
Jillian is majoring in environmental studies with biological science applications and is a class of 2012 graduate of Warwick Valley High School.
To qualify for the dean’s list, students must attain a GPA between 3.500 and 3.849.
