President's list/high honors
Sarah Rothstein, a biology major from Warwick, has been named to both the dean's list and the president's list for the fall 2013 semester at Siena College in Loudonville.

To be included on the president's list, a student's GPA for the semester must be 3.9 or higher.

Sarah was one of 235 students who were named to the fall 2013 semester's list.


Tyler Young has been named to the dean's list with high honors for the fall semester at Nichols College in Dudley, Mass.

In order to be considered for dean's high honors, a student must attain a semester average of 3.6 or higher.

Tyler, a graduate of Warwick Valley High School, is a sophomore accounting major.

Dean's list
Trevor Ferguson of Warwick has been named to the dean’s list for fall 2013 semester at SUNY Albany with a GPA of 4.0. He is studying finance and marketing.

Trevor, who will graduate in May, has been named to the dean’s list every semester of his college career at SUNY Albany.

He is the son of Michael and Stacey Ferguson.


Erin Byrne has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2013 semester at Marywood University, in Scranton, Pa. She is in the five-year program for speech pathology/audiology.


Farrell Brenner of Sugar Loaf was named to the fall 2013 College of Arts and Sciences dean's list at Syracuse University.

To qualify for the dean's list, students must achieve at least a 3.4 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) during the semester.

Farrell, an international relations major, is also active in Amnesty International and the Hendricks Chapel Choir.


The following students were named to the dean’s list for the fall 2013 semester at Morrisville State College:

Dean Gieger of Warwick.
To be named to the dean’s list, a student must achieve an average of 3.0 to 3.99 for the semester and complete 12 credit hours.

Devin Hurley, a computer science major from Warwick,.

Charlotte Brunjes, a management major from Warwick.

Awards, honors, programs
Danielle Ripp of Warwick is studying abroad in Havana, Cuba, during spring semester 2014.

Danielle is a fourth-year professional photographic illustration major in Rochester Institute of Technology's College of Imaging Arts and Sciences.

By studying abroad, students have the chance to travel, experience new adventures, learn a foreign language, gain a different perspective on their major, immerse themselves in a different culture and develop lifelong friends, among many other things.
