    Dean’s list Bradford J. Ackerman has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2011 semester at Villanova University in Pennsylvania. He is the son of Richard and Karen Ackerman of Warwick.

    Ross Theron Imbrie of Warwick, a senior studying biology, was one of 360 students named to the dean’s list for the 2011 fall semester at Juniata College in Huntingdon, Pa. He is the son of Edward Imbrie and Hilary Tsai and 2008 graduate of Warwick Valley High School.

    The dean’s list recognizes grade point averages of at least 3.6 out of a possible 4.0.

    Anthony M. Triola of Warwick, a junior public justice major, has been named to the president’s list for the fall 2011 semester at SUNY Oswego. Students who achieve grade averages of 3.80 and above on the 4.00 scale are named to the president’s list, the top 6.3 percent of all Oswego students.

    Joseph Briggs of Warwick, a senior (business administration).

    Steven T. Curry of Warwick, a sophomore (psychology).

    Julie L. Jacques of Warwick, a junior (psychology).

    Nicholas T. LaTorre of Warwick, a sophomore (economics).

    Timothy M. Mullhaupt of Warwick, a freshman (broadcasting and mass communication).

    To be included on the deans’ list, students must have a semester grade average of 3.30 to 3.79.

    The following students were named to the dean’s list for the fall 2011 semester at SUNY Cortland:

    Caitlin Lemire, a sophomore exercise science major from Florida

    Kristen Ludecker, a junior business economics major from Florida.

    Sarah Steele, a senior speech and language disabilities major from Florida.

    Jorge Braadt, a senior health education major from Warwick.

    Shelby Fisher, a junior communication studies major from Warwick.

    Gavin Hannah, a sophomore physical education major from Warwick.

    Brynn Hutchinson, a junior speech and language disabilities major from Warwick.

    Daniel McManus, a senior physical education major from Warwick.

    Patrick Rolla, a sophomore business economics major from Warwick.

    Honorees must earn a grade point average of 3.3 or higher on a 4.0 scale, while completing 12 or more credit hours of classes during the semester.

    The following student athletes at Binghamton University, were named to the fall 2011 athletic director’s honor roll after achieving semester grade point averages (GPA) of 3.30 or higher.

    Jesse Fuca of Warwick, who is on the Men’s Track & Field team, is pursuing a degree in English.

    Karl Schnabl of Warwick, who is on the Men’s Track & Field team, is pursuing a degree in industrial systems engineering.

    Honors, awards, programs Erica Cahn of Warwick, a senior at Ramapo College in New Jersey, has become a member of Theta Delta, the Ramapo College chapter of the Phi Alpha Honor Society, the national honor society for social work students.

    Dominican College in Orangeburg has inducted the following students into Alpha Lambda Delta, the national honor society for first-year students.

    Kino Constable of Florida, Mic-Andre Constable of Florida.

    To qualify, students must maintain a 3.25 or higher GPA and be in the top 20 percent of their class in the first year of college.

    Courtney Howell of Florida was among the 123 honor scholars who were recognized during Elmira College’s Winter Convocation in late January for the academic excellence.

    Courtney is the daughter of Skip and Diane Howell. A member of the class of 2012, she is majoring in nursing.

    To achieve standing as a Cowles Honor Scholar, students must be members of the Class of 2012, have attended at least two terms and hold a 3.6 cumulative grade point average.
