Graduations David Noll, son of Vickie Shepherd of Greenwood Lake, graduated summa cum laude from University of Buffalo with majors in Economics and Political Science. David will be attending the Law School at William and Mary in Williamsburg, Va.

Ryan Kata of the Village of Florida graduated from Alfred State College in May. Kata graduated from the mechanical engineering tech program.

The following local residents were among the 1,791 students who earned undergraduate and graduate degrees and certificates of advanced study as members of the Class of 2012 at The College of Saint Rose in Albany:

Kimberly Zis of Florida received a master of science degree in education.

Kayla Gieger of Warwick received a bachelor of science degree.

Chelsea Evanyke of Warwick received a bachelor of arts degree.

The following local residents graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology in the spring 2012 quarter:

Erik Hilley of Warwick earned a bachelor of science degree in industrial engineering and a master of engineering degree in systems engineering from RIT’s Kate Gleason College of Engineering.

Brian Romanczyk of Warwick earned a bachelor of science degree in microelectronic engineering from RIT’s Kate Gleason College of Engineering.

Bradford Ackerman of Warwick graduated this past spring from Villanova University and was named to the dean’s list for exceptional academic performance. He will continue graduate studies at John Jay College in the fall.

Dean’s lists Megan Connolly of Warwick has been named to the dean’s list at Cornell University with a GPA of 3.75

Christopher Arena of Sugar Loaf was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2011 semester at SUNY Cortland. His major is exervise science. A 2008 graduate of Warwick Valley High School, Christopher is the son of Tom and Helen Arena.

The following students were named to the dean’s list for the spring 2012 semester at SUNY Cortland:

Patrick Rolla, a junior business economics major from Warwick.

Shelby Fisher, a senior communication studies major from Warwick.

Kristen Ludecker, a junior communication studies major from Florida.

Corinne Sisco, a junior English as a second language major from Warwick.

Caitlin Lemire, a sophomore exercise science major from Florida.

Brynn Hutchinson, a junior speech and language disabilities major from Warwick.

Sarah Garceau, a junior adolescence education: social studies major from Warwick.

Honorees must earn a grade point average of 3.3 or higher on a 4.0 scale, while completing 12 or more credit hours of classes during the semester.
