Dean’s list
Bianca M. Diaz, daughter of Jose and Yvonne Diaz, from the Village of Florida, has been named to the dean’s list for the 2012 fall semester at Adelphi University in Garden City, Long Island. Bianca, a 2009 graduate of S.S. Seward Institute is in her senior year at Adelphi where she is majoring in exercise science/pre-physical therapy.

Jacob Weber, the 2012 S.S. Seward valedictorian, has made the dean’s list of the College of Engineering at Renssalaer Polytechnic Institute with a GPA of 3.75. He is majoring in chemical engineering with a minor in sustainability studies.

As a member of the RPI chapter of Engineers for A Sustainable World, he is currently working on a biodiesel project which will hopefully run shuttle buses on recycled oil from the dining halls.

Jacob is the son of Debra and Richard Weber of Florida.

Danielle Janiak of Warwick has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2012 semester at the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.

Dean’s list status is awarded to students who have successfully completed their course work with a semester GPA of 3.2 or higher out of a possible 4.0 score.

The following students have been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2012 semester at Rider University’s colleges of Business Administration, Continuing Studies, Liberal Arts, Education, and Sciences and Westminster College of the Arts in Lawrenceville, N.J.:

Michelle Nick of Warwick, a junior whose major is business administration.

Gabrielle Randell of Warwick, a junior whose major is psychology.
