College notes

Graduation
Ryan John Starks of Warwick received the Juris Doctor Degree on May 10 from Washington and Lee University School of Law.

Starks was among 126 students who received their J.D. Degrees during commencement ceremonies held on Washington and Lee University's historic Front Lawn.

He received the undergraduate degree from SUNY Albany.

The following students were recently awarded a degree from Binghamton University:

Beau Tyler Thompson of Warwick.

Christopher James Lingle of Warwick.

Sean O'Brien, who attended Warwick Valley High School, has graduated from SUNY New Paltz with a major in creative writing and a minor in studio design.

Antal Viczian of Warwick was among the nearly 800 students who graduated from Bob Jones University in Greenville, S.C., earlier this month.

Viczian graduated cum laude with a bachelor of arts degree in bible.

Jacquelyn Trimlett of Warwick has just completed the FIT 3-1 Program, graduating from the SUNY at Oneonta with a bachelor of science in fashion and textiles concentrating in merchandising and as well has received an associates of applied science in fashion merchandising management from the SUNY Fashion Institute of Technology.

She is the daughter of Diane and Vito Trimlett and an alumni of the WVHS class of 2010.

President's list
Patrick Donnelly of Pine Island, , majoring in Computer/Info Sci (BS/MS), has been named to the president's list for the spring 2014 semester at the State University of New York Institute of Technology at Utica/Rome.

A semester grade point average of 3.60 or above qualifies full-time, matriculated students for inclusion on the president's list.

Dean's list
Timothy Luke Horton of Warwick has been named to the dean's list for the spring 2014 semester at Clemson University in South Carolina.

To be named to the dean's list, a student achieved a grade-point average between 3.50 and 3.99 on a 4.0 scale.

Horton is a management major.
Awards, honors, programs

Mariah Klimowich, a 2011 graduate of George F. Baker High School in Tuxedo, was recently inducted to become a life time member of Phi Alpha Theta, the National History Honor Society. Students must earn at least a 3.1 GPA in the history field of study.

Mariah is a senior history major and government and politics minor at Wagner College in Staten Island.

She is the daughter of Anne Marie Sicheri of Greenwood Lake.
