Chrome Salon NY in Florida celebrates first anniversary

FLORIDA — It may be the most important milestone for any business.

On Sunday, May 5, owner Regina Pawliczek and her staff celebrated the first anniversary of Chrome Salon NY, 1724-2, Route 17A (across from the Sports Center) in the Village of Florida.

Chrome Salon NY specializes in what Pawliczek terms “the art and science of hair.”

Services include men and women’s haircutting and styling, hair treatments, coloring, facial waxing and detox spa hand treatment.

Pawliczek is a second-generation cosmetologist with 30 years of experience.

During those years she spent an additional 15 years as a national salon educator for a top global manufacturer, teaching the art and skill of haircutting as well as chemical theory of hair color to other licensed cosmetologists. And when Pawliczek is not with a client, she can be found spending time helping her staff with color formulations and hair cutting tips.

All stylists at Chrome Salon NY are versed in every phase of salon services and all are required to fulfill 20 additional hours of advanced training per year.

Linda Desibia and Amanda Pascal, for example, both specialize in women’s short haircuts and curly hair.

Kim Younghans and Ashely Hill specialize in long hair cutting, formal styling, hair extensions and amino acid smoothing treatments.

“Katrina Colman and Melissa Gaeta give amazing shampoos and conditioning treatments,” said Pawliczek. “And our clients are reluctant to leave the luxury lounge shampoo seats.”
