Christopher Sommer from Warwick received the rank of Eagle Scout at a ceremony held in Greenwood Lake on Jan. 6.
GREENWOOD LAKE — Christopher Sommer from Warwick received the rank of Eagle Scout at a ceremony held in Greenwood Lake on Jan. 6.
Christopher, a Boy Scout in Troop 121 in Greenwood Lake, installed two flag poles and landscaped the area surrounding the flag poles at his church, St. Paul Lutheran Church in Monroe.
Christopher is 17 and is a senior at Warwick Valley High School, where he is captain of the boys varsity swim team He is the son of Ron and Cathy Sommer.
