Chester. The Kiwanis Club holds Community Clean-up Day on May 10

The Kiwanis Club of Chester will hold its annual Community Clean-up Day on Saturday, May 10, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The starting location will be Wendy’s parking lot at Shoprite Plaza, 78 Brookside Ave.

The public is invited and encouraged to bring their gloves, wear long pants and long-sleeved shirts, hats, boots and bug spray.

Kiwanis will be providing bags, vests and pickers as well as a small bus to drop individuals off at certain locations.

Members of the Police Departments, Village and Town Highway Departments and the Chester Fire Department Fire Police will be on hand to assist.

Lunch will be provided for all those volunteers.
