Chamber to host mixer at Winslow Therapeutic Center on Aug. 19

WARWICK — On Wednesday evening, August 19, the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce will showcase Winslow Therapeutic Horse Riding Center, 1433 Route 17A in Warwick, for an after-hours summer business mixer from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
The center is located on 100 acres just off Route 17A between Bellvale and Mount Peter.
Winslow Therapeutic Center is a non-profit organization accredited by the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International. Its therapeutic environment offers a unique and often life-changing horseback riding experience to children and adults with physical, mental, or social disabilities.
The organization was established in 1974 and is funded by grants and the donations of its supporters.
During next week's outdoor summer mixer in Winslow's garden and gazebo, chamber members and non-members are invited to expand their business connections and mingle with professionals while touring the picturesque Winslow property. Wine and snacks will be served while you have an opportunity to enjoy live musical entertainment by singer/songwriter Ava Heatley. Each attendee will also be eligible to win a variety of raffles and prizes.
Essential informationBusiness mixers or evening get-togethers, are relaxed social events where members can enjoy each other's company, share ideas and generally "network" in an informal setting.
General admission to the event is $20.
For members of the chamber, the cost is only $10.
