Chamber to host mixer at Village Billiards

WARWICK — On Thursday evening, May 29, members of the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce, their guests and would-be members will have an opportunity to enjoy one of the most playful networking events of the season.
From 6 to 8 p.m., the Chamber is hosting an after-hours business mixer at Village Billiards, 17 Main St. in the Village of Warwick.
Those who attend will have an opportunity to exchange business cards and score new business leads while shooting a game of pool, throwing some darts or playing a board game with area business professionals. It's also an opportunity to wind down from your workday in a fun and casual setting with hearty appetizers provided by Fetch Bar and Grill and a cocktail (cash bar available). Guests will also be eligible to win a variety of raffles and prizes.
"I am looking forward to showcasing our new upscale entertainment center," said Village Billiards owner Adam Powers. "We've created a great atmosphere for your gaming enjoyment."
Powers is also the owner of Fetch Bar and Grill located in both Warwick and Manhattan.
Village Billiards offers an upscale pool hall and bar with seven pool tables, two dart boards, a host of game boards, and eight flat screen TVs, including one with a 10-foot wide picture.
Hosting American Pool Players Association League Play and in-house daily tournaments, on-going weekly events and private parties, Village Billiards is open seven days a week from 12 p.m. to 12 a.m.
General admission to the event is $20. For members of the chamber, the cost is $10.
