— The Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce will host a special after-hours business mixer from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 24.

The evening of music, refreshments and networking will be held at the Town of Warwick Historical Center’s A.W. Buckbee Center located at 2 Colonial Ave. And, as a special attraction, the entertainment will feature world-renowned artists Richard Kimball on the piano and a memorable appearance by a cappella vocalist Ray Sanders of The Persuasions.

Guests will also be treated to wine and a complimentary hors d’oeuvres prepared by historical society members.

“I’m very excited to team up with the Warwick Chamber for this occasion,” said Town of Warwick Historical Society President Michael Bertolini. “Both organizations are very important to the community and we share a common sense of unity.”

The historic and spacious building, formerly home of the Albert Wisner Public Library, was donated to the Historical Society by Al and Judy Buckbee.

Established in 1906, The Town of Warwick Historical Society continues to own, operate and offer guided tours of 10 buildings where a vast collection of objects and antiques are on exhibit.

The A.W. Buckbee Center also is home to an historic textile and clothing collection, archives, and administrative offices. The building is also available for special events, receptions, large meetings and the like.

“Pack plenty of business cards and be prepared to meet, greet and socialize with business professionals from around the Hudson Valley,” said programs chair Janine Dethmers. “And join chamber members for this unique social event.”
