Celebrating the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
WARWICK — The Union AME Church at 98 McEwen St. in the Village of Warwick will celebrated the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on Monday, Jan. 21, beginning at 11 a.m.
The Rev. Ann Marie Bentsi-Addison Posey, pastor, said the theme this year is “Forward Together” (Isaiah 43:18-19).
The guest preacher will be Rev. Dr. Richard C. Chapple Jr., pastor of Mother AME Zion Church in New York.

Clergies from the area churches and community leaders are expected to join in the celebration.
"We will have reflections by representatives from several generations of those on whose behalf Dr. King struggled to create a beloved community that honors every human being of every race, every creed and every ethnicity," said Channabel Latham-Morris. "We will also have a variety of musical selections that celebrate the depths of the tradition in which the character of Dr. King was formed. We hope that you will be able to attend.
