Celebrate Winterfest

WARWICK — Bring the entire family to the Warwick Valley Community Center on Saturday, Feb. 10, for Winterfest, a full day of free activities concluding with a community dinner.
The schedule of events for the day includes:
• Birding with Pam Golben - 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Identify by sight and sound the top 10 birds that visit backyard feeders in the area. Activities include bird bingo, making a Valentine bird feeder (no peanut butter) and create a paper bird.
• Maple Sugaring - 1:30 to 3 p.m.
Tap a tree demonstrations and education.
• Make Ground Hog-themed desserts and treats - 3 to 4 p.m.
Chocolate Punxsutawney Phil pops up from his cookie mound in the cutest ever Ground Hog Day recipe.
• Watch Ground Hog Day on the big screen - 4 to 6 p.m.
• Free monthly community dinner - 6 to 8 p.m.
Pancakes for dinner.
Bring your own bagged lunch and stay for the day. This free event is open to all. Monetary donations to the Warwick Community Center are welcome.
