WARWICK — On April, 26, St. Pauly Textile installed one of its clothing collection sheds at Calvary Baptist Church in Warwick for the community to use as a drop off for clothing.

This program keeps clothing out of the landfill and helps out those in need, church officials said in the press release announcing the service. The shed is located behind the church building on 5 Wisner Road in Warwick.

St. Pauly is a family-owned business based in upstate New York and is a member of the Better Business Bureau. It collects useable clothing, shoes, sneakers, belts, purses, linens, blankets and drapes. In 2010, more than 51 million garments were distributed to an estimated 6.37 million people all over the world through the St. Pauly program.

The company has more than 450 clothing drop off sheds across New York. For more information, visit www.St-Pauly.com.
