Calling all artists

WARWICK — Warwick Playground Dreams is seeking artists to help decorate the new playground in Stanley-Deming Park.
The hope is that a number of playground features that will reflect the culture of Warwick through the brush strokes of local artists.
These features include:
• A mural of an apple orchard on the rock-climbing wall;
• A mural of Jack and the Beanstalk on the racing ropes wall;
• Four “store” facades in the Tot Lot to reflect Warwick, Greenwood Lake, Florida and Pine Island; and
• A scavenger hunt of painted animals hidden throughout the playground.
Painting of the playground will take place during Build Week April 22-28.
Those interested should send their design idea and an introduction explaining which feature they would be interested in painting by March 21 to:
