WARWICK — Longtime Warwick resident and local entrepreneur Celia Cantelmo, who owns a furniture décor store on Ronald Reagan Boulevard, just fulfilled her lifelong dream to open a fashion boutique.

On Friday, Aug. 14, Town of Warwick Supervisor Michael Sweeton, Mayor Michael Newhard, Deputy Mayor Barry Cheney and members of the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce joined Cantelmo, her sister Suzanne Pegg and her staff for the grand opening of bfree.

The new fashion boutique at 17 Main St. in the Village of Warwick boasts one of the largest selections of Free People fashion items in the tri-state area. They range from designer jeans and casual tops to career wear and cocktail dresses.

"At bfree, " said Cantelmo, "shoppers will find a trend-setting shoe department and home goods mixed right in with the fashion on the sales floor. Our goal is to keep the store fully stocked with all the must have items of the moment. It's a combination of great fashion and a hip atmosphere creating the ultimate shopping experience."

bfree is also partnering with several non-profit organizations that share Cantelmo's vision of a better world with such lines as Dogeared, Chan LUU and Worthwhile wear.

"We are proud to be a part of a community of companies developing better business practices and using business as a force for good," she said.

Essential informationbfree Boutique is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
