‘Better a witty fool than a foolish wit’

WARWICK — On Friday, April 5, from 5 to 9 p.m., come all ye to the library for a night of mayhem, revelry and Shakespeare.
For this special Lock-In, the library has invited local Renaissance Faire actors Don and Kelly Kilcoyne for a few interactive performances. There will be a live demonstration of stage combat and Renaissance era weaponry.
Teens will have the opportunity to update some of Shakespeare’s most famous lines for the 21st century and brave souls will have the opportunity to perform them.
Teens will also get some practice in learning how to hurl a few good Shakespearean insults.
Afterward, a film adaptation of Shakespeare’s comedy, “Much Ado About Nothing,” will be shown.
Costumes are encouraged.
