All girls grades K-12 are invited to the Warwick Girl Scouts registration event on Saturday, Sept. 21, from 2 to 4 p.m., at Pine Island Town Park.

Current Girl Scouts will be on hand to guide the girls in some fun activities. The participants will learn how to handle emergencies. They’ll get to create their own First Aid kit to take home and earn a fun patch.

They will find out what Girl Scouts do, from the activities and adventures, to earning badges and helping out in their communities.

There is also a need for adult volunteers. Adults are welcome at the event to learn about becoming a leader or co-leader and other ways they can help out a troop.

Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place. Girls Scouts help others, learn to be leaders, volunteer and do good in their community while having fun and adventures along the way.
