WARWICK — The Jubilate youth choir helped Tom O’Donnell propose to his unsuspecting girlfriend Kristen Callahan last Sunday morning.

At 11:30 a.m. at the Warwick Valley Farmers Market on South Street, Jubilate, which is directed by David Crone and Steven Wing, “flash mobbed” Kristen with the Ronnie Spector classic, “Be My Baby.”

Tom and Kristen, both natives of Rockland County, have been dating for eight years.

Tom got down on his knee. Kristen said yes.

And the crowd applauded. You can view the event at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gAT5xqzOYm4&feature=plcp.

In case you can’t get to a computer to watch, here’s the opening lyrics:

“The night we met I knew I needed you so

“And if I had the chance I’d never let you go

“So won’t you say you love me? I’ll make you so proud of me

“We’ll make ‘em turn their heads every place we go

“So won’t you, please? “Be my, be my baby.”
