WARWICK — Assemblywoman Annie Rabbitt (R-C-Greenwood Lake) continued her “Buy Local-Shop Local” initiative with a tour of shops along Main Street in the Village of Warwick last Wednesday, Dec. 12.
“Our ‘Buy Local-Shop Local’ initiative is taking off with national events like Small Business Saturday helping to generate revenue increases for some shops by as much as 400 percent,” said Rabbitt. “Although I encourage residents to support their local mom and pop businesses year-round, the holidays are an especially wonderful time to shop local. Our shops, bakeries, eateries and services not only provide consumers with a much-needed respite from the mega-mall madness, but shopping local helps keep the true spirit of the holidays alive.”
