WARWICK — Applewood Winery & Naked Flock Hard Cider has just released Applewood Vodka, the first up in its new line-up of spirits.

Applewood Vodka is 100 percent distilled from New York State Apples. It produces a subtle clean Apple taste with hints of caramel and vanilla.

Jonathan Hull, owner and wine maker at Applewood Winery, has been on the cutting edge of the Craft Beverage Movement in Orange County for more than 20 years, beginning with apple wines and hard apple ciders produced from the apples grown at the family orchards.

Naked Flock Hard Ciders, one of the first hard ciders produced in Hudson Valley, soon followed. The cider takes its name from the process and its ingredients: Hudson Valley Apples, gluten free, no colorants or artificial flavoring and stripped naked of any additives.

Applewood Winery along with Naked Flock Hard Ciders is what is called a Tree to Bottle, Vineyard to Table operation.
