Applefest T-shirt design winners announced

WARWICK — The Applefest 2012 Committee has announced the winners of this year’s T-shirt design competition.
In the adult category, first prize was awarded to Jessica Annunziato, whose design will be printed on the Applefest 2012 T-shirts and sold at Applefest on Sunday, Oct. 14. She will also receive a $50 Warwick Chamber of Commerce gift certificate.

The second-prize winner is an anonymous artist, who will receive a $25 chamber gift certificate.
Third-prize winner is Brian Logan, who will receive a $10 gift certificate. Chamber gift certificates may be used at a wide variety of stores, restaurants, and businesses in the Town of Warwick.
In the student category, first prize was awarded to Emily Hogan, who will receive a $20 gift certificate.
The second-prize student winner is Brian Allan, who will receive a $15 gift certificate.
Third prize was awarded to Maya Ramos, who will receive a $10 gift certificate.

Before Applefest, all T-shirt design submissions will be displayed in the window of Akin’s Pharmacy on Main Street.
After Applefest, all entries will be available for pickup at the Chamber of Commerce Caboose on South Street until Nov. 4.
