Applefest seeks T-shirt design contest entries
WARWICK The Applefest 2012 Committee is now accepting entries for this years T-shirt design competition.
The competition is open to all Town of Warwick residents, including students. Entrants are encouraged to submit one or more designs, and the winning design will be printed on T-shirts to be sold at Applefest on Sunday, Oct. 14.
The deadline is June 15. The entry form with rules may be downloaded at warwickapplefest.com or picked up at the Warwick Chamber of Commerce office in the Caboose on South Street.
The following prizes will be awarded:
First Prize: $50 Warwick Chamber of Commerce Gift Certificate and your design printed on this years Applefest T-shirts.
Second Prize: $25 Warwick Chamber of Commerce Gift Certificate.
Third Prize: $10 Warwick Chamber of Commerce Gift Certificate.
The gift certificates may be used at a wide variety of stores, restaurants and businesses in the Town of Warwick.
Entry rules: Artwork image may be no larger than 12 x 12 and must be submitted on paper (no online submissions) in full color.
All three of the following elements must be included in the design:
Applefest 2012 24th Annual Warwick, NY or Warwick, New York.
The artists name or signature should appear somewhere at the bottom of the artwork.
Complete and attach the bottom of the entry form to the back of artwork. A stamped, self-addressed envelope for notification must be paper clipped to artwork. Drop off artwork at the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce Caboose on South Street by June 15.
The winning design will be chosen by the Applefest Committee. All entries will be displayed in a local storefront window before Applefest. After Applefest, entries will be available for pickup at the Chamber of Commerce Caboose until Nov. 6, 2012.
