Applefest 2013 T-shirt design winners announced

WARWICK — Louise Hutchison of Warwick has created the design that will be printed on Applefest 2013 T-shirts sold at Applefest on Sunday, Oct. 6.

Hutchison took first prize in the adult category in this year’s 25th anniversary T-shirt design competition. She will receive a $50 Warwick Chamber of Commerce gift certificate.

The second prize winner was Terri Davis, who will receive a $25 chamber gift certificate.

Third prize went to Femi Ford, who will receive a $10 chamber gift certificate.

Chamber gift certificates may be used at a wide variety of stores, restaurants, and businesses in the Town of Warwick.

No submissions were received in the student category this year.

Before Applefest, all T-shirt design contest submissions will be displayed in the window of Akin’s Pharmacy on Main Street.

After Applefest, all entries will be available for pickup at the Chamber of Commerce Caboose on South Street until Nov. 8, 2013.
