The Florida Historical Society’s annual fruit sale is now underway. The sale helps raise funds to continue the restoration of the 1840s Green Family House.
FLORIDA — The Florida Historical Society’s annual fruit sale is now underway. Order fresh oranges, tangelos, pineapple, grapefruit, apples, pears and cheesecakes through Sunday, Nov. 25.
The fruit fund raiser helps raise funds to continue the restoration of the 1840s Green Family House. Four generations of this family lived there and contributed significantly to the history of Florida and the surrounding area. It is now home to the Florida Historical Society.
