WARWICK — Altice USA recognized students at Warwick Valley High School for participating in Charity Champions, Altice USA’s program that promotes high school volunteerism and supports local charities.
Warwick Valley High School students chose to raise funds for Warwick Valley Empty Bowls, an international, grassroots effort that raises money and awareness for the fight to end hunger and a supporter of several local food pantries and organizations.
To raise funds, clay bowls made by students are sold at various fund-raising events throughout the school year, including a dinner event held earlier this month, with proceeds going to Warwick Valley Empty Bowls.
Altice USA is one of the largest broadband communications and video services providers in the U.S., and a provider of Optimum-branded digital cable television, high-speed Internet and voice services.
