FLORIDA — On Oct. 7, Town of Warwick Supervisor Michael Sweeton and members of the Florida and Warwick Valley Chambers of Commerce joined owner Patricia Rivas and her staff for the grand opening of Alora Laser spa.

Located in a spacious studio at 45 South Main Street in the Village of Florida, the new spa is the third salon owned and operated by Rivas, a licensed esthetician and skin care specialist with over 13 years of experience.

She first founded Alora Ambiance spa in Boonton, N.J., in 2006.

In addition to Boonton and Florida, Rivas also owns and manages Alora hair salon and spa in Haskell, N.J.

Alora spas offer a variety of spa services and specialty treatments.

Rivas has expanded her skin care license and her certifications to now offer several new treatments such as, Carboxy, IPL Laser Hair Removal, MesoTherapy, Skin Rejuvenation, Ionithermie and several weight loss and cellulite treatments.

Rivas' new Florida location specializes in laser hair removal besides offering all of the services that her other locations have been offering for the past seven years.

Rivas has also created her own skin care line, "Ayurveda."

"All our products are approved by dermatologists and made with hand-picked ingredients to assure you of their high quality," said Rivas. "Our goal as a business is to make every client feel extravagantly pampered as they walk out our doors."

Alora Laser Spa is open Monday through Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
