Albert Wisner Public Library to host programs tweens and teens on the Autism Spectrum

    WARWICK —Thanks to a grant awarded by Autism Welcome Here, the Albert Wisner Public Library will hold a series of programs each month through June 2018, led by Special Education teacher Lisa Currao, dedicated to providing social situations for tweens and teens with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities.
    Parents and siblings are welcome and encouraged to attend.
    The programs will vary in theme each month, and cover a variety of topics to satisfy both parents and teens.
    Upcoming topics include dance instruction, stress management, a book discussion of Wonder by R.J. Palacio, internet safety tips, fun with Instagram and more.
    Admission is free.
