Access Physical Therapy & Wellness celebrate with ribbon-cutting ceremony
WARWICK — The St. Anthony Community Hospital Center for Physical Rehabilitation, located in Warwick's ShopRite Plaza, is now being managed by Access Physical Therapy & Wellness, an Orange County-based provider of physical, occupational and other therapy services.
On Tuesday evening, Dec. 8, Town of Warwick Supervisor Michael Sweeton and Michael Johndrow, executive director of the Warwick Valley Chamber, joined Access owners, executives and members of Bon Secours Charity Health System Outpatient Facilities for a celebration and ribbon-cutting at the renovated facility.
Twenty locations in three states
Physical and occupational therapists and outpatient therapy department staff were also on hand to talk about their work and answer questions.
Established with a single physical therapy clinic in Montgomery in 2003, Access now provides therapy in more than 20 locations in three states.
"We offer physical, occupational and speech therapy in a newly renovated and airy space where you can rehab in the social environment of fellow patients or, when necessary, in a private treatment area or room," said Physical Therapist Hillary Bastone, the Rehabilitation Center's director. "Progressive exercise and manual based therapy within a team approach is our forte. We are excited to better serve the Warwick community with a new space, extended hours, additional staff and added expertise."
Essential informationIn addition to providing services to patients of St. Anthony Community Hospital, Access is now managing Bon Secours Charity Health System's outpatient therapy departments at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern and Bon Secours Community Hospital in Port Jervis.
The St. Anthony Community Hospital Center for Physical Rehabilitation is open from 7 a.m. - 8 p.m. Mon. through Thurs.; 7 a.m. - 6 p.m. Friday; and 8 a.m.-noon Saturday.
